Live Love Jamboree is an art and music celebration for The Keep A Breast Foundation that has been organized by a young creative collective promoting positive and artistic ways to take action and bring awareness to a worthy cause. Five of CanadaÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s most promising artists have adorned five different casts of the female torso. Artists featured include Jay Malinowski from Bedouin Soundclash, Caitlin Cronenberg celebrity photographer and daughter of world-renowned filmmaker David Cronenberg, Felicia Atanasiu, Shugamai Grace Johnson and DoubleJ. The one-of-a-kind works of art will be up for auction on www.livelovejamboree.com to raise money for the foundation. The Keep A Breast FoundationÃ¢â€žÂ¢, a non-profit organization, combines sculpture, philanthropy, and symbolic artistry to launch a series of art benefits exhibiting one-of-a-kind plaster forms of the female torso to represent keeping breasts cancer-free. Customized by artists, these works are auctioned to raise funds for breast cancer programs across the US, Canada, Australia, Europe and all over the world. Celebrities such as PINK, Katy Perry, Dita Vone Tesse, Margaret Cho, Tura Santana, The Bachelor and Bachelorette and MTVÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s the Real World Brooklyn have all been casted to raise funds in support of the cause and shed light on this important issue. The five casts will be up for auction online at www.livelovejamboree.com starting on May 2, 2009 through to May 12, 2009. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Keep A Breast and their mission to spread breast cancer awareness and education among young people, benefiting prevention and treatment programs in communities around the world.
