Ronald P. Frye Publishing company based in Toronto, decided to reprint the Ryerson Poetry Chapbook Series. This project was initially envisioned and executed by Editor in chief of the Ryerson Press from 1922-1960, Lorne Pierce. A renowned figure in Canadian publishing, Pierce had a profound admiration for the poetry of this country. Ronald P. Frye & Co will publish only 250 copies of each book from the series, numbered and signed. These books are items for enthusiasts and those who appreciate high quality craftsmanship and artistry.
The book whose content I drew inspiration from, was “The Flute” written by poet Katherine Hale.
